MOE at the 2010 FIRST Philadelphia Regional

| The Miracle Workerz attended the Philadelphia Regional which is considered the home regional for MOE. Emotions and spirits were running high for the MOE team in hopes of winning the Philadelphia regional for the 3rd time in a row... a Miracle Workerz first. After qualifications, MOE was seeded fifth and was chosen to compete with the number one alliance along with Miss Daisy (341, our alliance captains) and the Positronic Panthers (486)! After some more nail-biting elimination rounds MOE was in the winning alliance, achieving our goal of winning 3 Philadelphia regionals in a row! We all had a great time in Philly. Click Here to see photos from the event! In addition being a Philadelphia Regional winner, MOE also recieved the Motorola Quality Award. This award is presented to the team who, in the judges opinions, represents the highest quality in robot, pit, and team all together. MOE was honored to earn this award. |

MOEmentum was tipped twice, not including the time we got flipped all the way over on our back, and Miss Daisy tipped onto thier side once. The Panthers responded quickly and after some pretty impressive teamwork they successfully managed to right our robot and Miss Daisy's. Through their superior offensive play, Miss Daisy managed to win the match in which we had flipped all the way over, in what was a very thrilling, competitive, and somewhat frightening match. Not only did the alliance win, but MOE also won the Quality Award! We had a great time and would like to thank the city of Philadelphia for hosting us!  At this regional event, team 341 gave us an award for being "The Best Team Mate." Miss Daisy was the captain of our regional winning alliance. |
