MOE at the 2007 FIRST Championship Event

We arrived via plane on a cloudy Wednesday afternoon. Some of the students on the team visted the Georgia Aquarium, while others relaxed at the hotel. The next few days were a blur of matches and spirit. Although we were picked to join an alliance to compete in the final rounds at the Curie field, we did not advance to Einstein. The team was amazed by the announcers during the weekend, and we were able to see videos of the future of robotics. Finally, it was time for the Chairman's Award to be announced. We waited anxiously as the decription of the Chairman's Award was delivered: "You can almost believe they really can work miracles." It was announced that we finally won!

Awards Received by MOE from Other Teams


Team 1675, the Ultimate Protection Squad, awarded us with the Best Pit Award.	Team 2010, the Lightning Bots, gave us an award for having outstanding uniforms!

Rocket City Robotics, team 34, also gave us an award for having cool uniforms.	Westview Robotics, Team 1510, gave us an award for having the coolest driving team! Thanks guys!
